Spring Fever | Color Junkie Sale in Etsy

Spring is in the air, and I can feel it! I had so much fun kicking off the season this past weekend, by having a fabulous and color happy photoshoot with my girls Neon LolitaRegina Marie and Becky Brazier. I couldn't be more in love with color right now if I tried, and I have been having such a blast playing with it, after months of working only in white and silver while creating my "Pleiades" collection. See a little teaser from the shoot this past weekend included below, along with a few of my other fun, Springy and color happy looks. Proper photos will be coming from this past weekend's shoot soon, but many of these other looks are currently for sale in my etsy, where I will be having a 20% off sale starting at midnight this evening, lasting until Sunday at midnight. This sale is good for *ANYTHING* in my etsy shop... to take advantage of it just enter the coupon code COLORJUNKIE upon checkout.

Papusza Celebrates the Year of the Horse with Isharya

I recently had the pleasure of meeting the talented creative director and stylist Michelle Rivet of Isharya, who pulled a couple of pieces from my collections to use in a shoot and fashion film she was doing in honor of the Chinese New Year/Year of the Horse. Michelle styled some of my couture pieces with a few pieces from Free People and jewelry from the stunning "California chic meets Bollywood" designs of Isharya. To make the shoot even better they where worn by my beloved muse, Alexis Carene Hutt, who frolicked with and rode a beautiful, blue eyed horse named Checkers down the stunning coastline of a Central Cali beach. See the fashion film and a few of my favorite images, capturing the magic of the shoot below. The black silk chiffon and lace dress seen below will be for sale in my etsy later on today!

"Under the snowdrifts the blossoms are sleeping..." -Alexander Smith

“I myself have seen this woman draw the stars from the sky; she diverts the course of a fast-flowing river with her incantations; her voice makes the earth gape, it lures the spirits from the tombs, send the bones tumbling from the dying pyre. At her behest, the sad clouds scatter; at her behest, snow falls from a summer's sky.”
― Catullus
